Weddings are celebrations so full of life. The moment the groom sees his blushing bride, the tears of happiness in the eyes of the mother of the bride, the smiles on the fathers, the kiss celebrating as husband and wife truly tell a special story. It is an honour to witness such a wondrous occasion and to capture your story into beautiful photographs.

A lifelong passion for wedding photography

My interest in photography came about 20 years ago.

I bought my first SLR camera while at university and enrolled in my first darkroom photography class. I spent hours developing and creating photographs in my make-shift darkroom at home. Since then, I have shifted to digital and enjoy all the benefits it offers and continued to follow my passion.

It has been over 14 years since I arrived in Brisbane from Japan and started shooting weddings here. I have been blessed to meet hundreds of brides and grooms and witness their weddings through my Canon lens.

New addition to my professional journey: Family and baby portrait photoshoot

As much as I enjoy wedding photography, I also became a photographer for my own children since 2012 when my daughter was born in Brisbane. I started looking for suitable locations to create my beautiful family memories while I was pushing my pram. Then my mum-friends started asking me to take pictures of their family.
Guess what? Now I even go to some kindies for kindy photo shoot!!
My favorite family photo location is Jacaranda trees in Spring time. Their seasonal beauty reminds me of cherry blossoms back home in Japan.
